National Women's Summit: Women's Self-Reliant Leadership in Times of Crises

A gathering of about 250 women from all over the Philippines will be held at Miriam College in Quezon City. The gathering will collectively assess gains, best practices and innovations, continuing and emerging challenges in implementing the 1995 Beijing Platform for Action (BPFA) in the Philippine setting. The resulting program of action will serve as an input to the Asia-Pacific NGO Forum on the Beijing Plus 15.
APC WNSP’s manager, Chat Garcia Ramilo, is a speaker in the session “Gender, Media and ICT”.
