As one of the 12 countries involved in the APC WNSP project “Strengthening Women’s Strategic Use of Information and Communications Technologies to Combat Violence against Women and Girls” supported by the MDG3 Fund, DRC will hold a national strategy workshop with representatives from women’s rights organisations working on issues of violence against women (VAW) to inform about the risks and opportunities that ICT represent for VAW and actions to end it. The workshop is organised by APC WNSP’s partner in DRC, Si Jeunesse Savait, with the support of Francoise Mukuku and the project’s country coordinator, Sylvie Niombo.
