Welcome!

The APC WNSP is both a programme of the Association for Progressive Communications and a network of over 150 individual women and women's organisations, especially in Latin America and Africa, as well as in Asia and Europe.

We are women who are passionate about women's rights and information and communication technologies. We are gender activists, techies, librarians, ICT trainers, communicators, researchers. Women who work with APC members are also a core part of the APC WNSP membership. We come from a variety of backgrounds but share the conviction that ICTs are and can transform women's realities for the better in a myriad of ways. We want to ensure positive change by promoting gender equality in the design, development, implementation, access to and use of ICTs and in the policy decisions and frameworks that regulate them.

If you are interested in participating in the APC WNSP network contact info@apcwomen.org.
