GEM Practitioners Exchange
Workshop Objectives
The workshop gathered selected GEM Testing Partners from Latin America, Asia Pacific, Africa and Central and Eastern Europe, WNSP members and WNSP partners in order to:
- share and discuss the lessons learned from the GEM testing process towards discussing gender and ICT issues and gender evaluations in various contexts and realities
- introduce the final version of the GEM Tool, the GEM website and to gather tester feedback on the revised tool and website
- discuss the future of the GEM practioners network and how GEM could be used by the participants
The workshop, also served to ensure that participants, in particular the GEM Testing Partners, would be able to continue using GEM in evaluating their initiatives / projects as well as to promote its use among their own partners.

Theme 1: Integrating Gender Issues into Evaluation
Presentation and discussion on how the testers underwent the process of integrating gender analysis in drafting the overall framework and plan for their evaluation, focusing on the challenges faced
