GEM Facilitators Workshop, 23 to 24 July 2007
GEM facilitators training workshop. Criteria for
identification of participants to this workshop, are:

i) Have delivered a GEM workshop or planning to deliver a GEM workshop, AND
ii) Have participated in a GEM workshop and used GEM tool in project
evaluation, AND
iii) Will facilitate and shadow thematic groups during parallel sessions
(two-person tag team per thematic area, at minimum) during the workshop

Global Training Exchange (GTE), 25 to 27 July 2007
Composed of plenary sessions and break-up parallel sessions.

For plenary, tenatively to cover:
i) Gender Analytical Framework for Thematic Areas (based on issue
papers, cross-cutting issues, universal gender and ICT issues)
ii) Training for website, tools for practitioners network
iii) Participatory Rural Appraisal

Break-up parallel sessions to cover:
1) localisation
2) rural development
3) telecentres
4) national ICT policy processes
5) communications (participants: communications team for GEM 2)
